ABSTRACT:
Covid-19 a word needs no introduction in the current situation for anyone. Everyone is anticipating a early solution
for the current pandemic. The situation right now depends on symptomatic management of each patient. Every
approached from alternative system of medicines in covid-19 might be considered as an attempt to contribute in
reducing the mortality of the current pandemic. To strengthen the knowledge and information regarding importance
of the role alternative system of medicine in the management of Covid-19, a case report is discussed. In this article,
a case report was studied on a patient with 48 years of age having HRCT thorax with lung involvement between 20-
30% with history of cough, fever, difficulty in breathing, weakness and fatigue consulted our clinic. After prior concern
and consent, we advise to follow 21 days onion steam vaporisation and Tablet T-AYU-HM Premium 600mg twice a
day during his home quarantine period. Tablet Paracetamol 650 mg was also advised, only for fever with
temperature above 99 F. The response obtained indicated that regular onion steam vaporisation and T-AYU-HM
Premium for 21 days period showed remarkable effect. The vital diagnostic measures CBC, HRCT Thorax, ESR,
CRP and D-Dimer are used to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. During the follow up period, a marked
improvement in the pathological and clinical parameters was observed. For better patient outcomes in the current
pandemic situation demands for clinical studies on safety and efficacy of Onion steam vaporisation and T-AYU-HM
Premium in covid-19 patients.

ABSTRACT:
Phenolic acids are diverse group that includes hydroxybenzoic and hydroxycinnamic acids. Various
phenolic acids reported from plants are gallic, and ellagic acids. They are also of interest in food, cosmetic
and pharmaceutical industries as well as substitutes for synthetic antioxidants. One such prominent
phenolic acid is gallic acid which is found in a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee and wine. It
occurs in plants in the form of free acids, esters, catechin derivatives and hydrolysable tannins. It also
occurs as methylated gallic acids e.g., syringic acid or galloyl conjugates of catechin derivatives, i.e.,
flanvan-3-ols, or polygalloyl esters of glucose, quinic acid or glycerol. Gallic acid has been reported to elicit
various biological activities such as antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant,
anticancer, anti-diabetic effects.

ABSTRACT:
The research was done with the goal of development and evaluation of sustained release microsphere of
Beclomethasone dipropionate (BDP) by microencapsulation process. Poly lactic glycolic acid (PLGA) was used
as polymer and Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) was used as emulsifying agent and concentration of both was optimized
on the basis of entrapment efficiency. Microspheres were prepared using emulsion solvent evaporation method.
Two different formulations were prepared using two different grades of PLGA i.e. PLGA 50: 50 and PLGA 75:25.
It was found that 20 to 40 mg PLGA with 1-3% w/v PVA gives good entrapment efficiency. Optimized batch was
selected using 32 factorial design. For BDP-PLGA 50:50 microspheres, batch containing 30 mg PLGA and 2%
w/v PVA and for BDP-PLGA 75:25 microsphere, batch containing 20 mg PLGA and 2% w/v PVA was found to be
best. A microsphere was filled in capsule shell size “2”. Optimized batch was then evaluated for particle size
which is in the range of 3000-6000 nm, zeta potential was found to be -10 to -19 mV, entrapment efficiency was
found to be 97-98%. Microspheres had good flow properties, ex-vivo permeability study shows 40% release of
BDP in 4 hrs. An optimized microsphere shows significant improvement in dissolution behaviour. It gives above
98% release in 24 hrs. DSC confirmed that there is entrapment of drug in polymer.

ABSTRACT
Currently, every nation is passing through a tough phase because of Covid-19. Traditional system of medicine
definitely has potential to help in fighting against this covid-19 pandemic. Boosting immunity has gained much
attention during these days and people are receiving multiple options for the same. Complications and treatment of
patients of Covid-19 having comorbidities presents a major challenge in current timings. In this article, we present a
clinical case study of a 51-year-old male weighing 73.60 kg, complaining of fever, cough, cold, breathing difficulty,
weakness, loss of taste sensation and vertigo. He also had a history of Type II Diabetes Mellitus and was on Glimi-M
twice a day. He was suspected of being infected by Covid-19. During his home quarantine tenure, we advised him to
take onion nebulisation and tablet T-AYU-HM Premium 300mg twice a day for 15 days. On his follow up visit, we
observed a remarkable improvement in his ESR, CRP and white blood cell count. He showed 20-30 percent
involvement of lungs in HRCT Chest conducted on the 5th day of his treatment. His SpO2 and Body Temperature
maintained normal levels throughout all 10 days of observation period. Tablet Levocetrizine 5mg with Montelukast
